I thought I'd post a little update...

Travel

Eurostar and Ryanair respectively, indeed. Unfortunately, I missed the promotional fare due to late booking, but did get a free upgrade to first class on my outward journey.

Accommodation

Holiday Inn Regent's Park on the other hand downgraded the both of us from executive to standard rooms. To this day, I believe they did so simply because they preferred booking the executive rooms for paying guests, rather than for us, who were using reward nights from the Priority Club programme.
After two nights, they moved us to refurbished standard rooms, which - as Alexis noticed - were smaller than our previous ones. He also did not receive the complementary executive package we were promised for both rooms. The duty manager set a perfect example of what not to do when being faced with a customer complaint, i.e. beating around the bush or even trying to get away with flat out lies, all accompanied by a highly irritating sheepish grin. It was only when he noticed that I was getting really annoyed by the situation (or rather, his totally inappropriate response to it), that he became more reasonable, and offered the both of us a complementary breakfast.
While the wobbles described above might suggest otherwise, it was a good hotel, and a very conveniently located one too!

Eating Ideas

Lunch @ Belgo became dinner @ Belgo with fellow MBA students.

What's On

We obviously made it to the graduation (the Royal Albert Hall is quite an impressive building!), but never set foot in the London Design Museum. The evening walk along the South Bank was one of the (many) highlights, and provided us with photos that are nothing short of amazing.
The list of other places visited is simply too long to post here, but includes Regent's Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, Notting Hill, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Greenwich and many others - I am confident that the pictures will tell the story ;-) (Which reminds me that I should not forget to post the photo challenges on Beehive!)

Thanks for a wonderful week in London, and once again congratulations on obtaining your MBA!
